Gotta love this weather! I can hardly believe it’s February. This is the perfect time of year to open the windows and enjoy some fresh air before the green pollen fills the air.
What a glorious weekend it was for someone who loves the outdoors. There couldn’t be a better way to celebrate this beautiful weather then a long walk through the woods.
The daffodils are blooming all over the place, one of my favorite parts of spring!
Sometimes it’s nice just to have a little time to relax.
This past weekend we had some lovely summer-like weather and I was able to enjoy a long walk with my husband. One of life’s small joys.
Happy Valentines Day! Today I want to dedicate my daily painting to my wonderful husband who is so sweet and kind and loving. He is my valentine every day!
This past weekend I was able to spend a lot of time in my studio, and it was so wonderful to get so much painting time.
Last weekend we went to the beach with a group of friends. Some we knew, and some we met there for the first time. It was too cold to spend any time on the beach, but it was so great just hanging out with such a fun group of people.
As I walk out on the trail by house lately, I am beginning to notice signs of spring. Even here in NC with our warm winters, It always makes me so happy to see the first buds on the trees. Soon we will see the first flowers blooming in the gardens.
Sometimes the ones that I do the quickest because I am in a hurry turn out the best. I love this one because it is a little more abstract than some. I am appreciative of the hustle and bustle in my life that leaves me with little spare time because it means that I have some many things that I want to accomplish and that gives me a sense of purpose.
